Mark Arkwright
In the second half of 2008, Mark Arkwright will open in Harrogate Gore Browne Investment Management's first branch office.
Mark's career has been spent very largely in the private client investment management world. After seven years in the Army and accountancy, he became a partner at Wise Speke, a Newcastle-based private client investment manager and remained there until 1995 with responsibility for their Yorkshire-based clients. From 1995 until January 2008, Mark was at Border Asset Management in Kirkby Lonsdale and Harrogate, for the most part as Chief Executive Officer.
Rob Gill
Rob provides us with project management expertise and has recently overseen the successful installation of new software for our data management - equipping the business for future growth in client numbers - together with the development of our web site. He also provides support for business development in his traditional market areas.
He spent nearly 30 years in a variety of banking roles with the Barclays Bank Group, latterly managing a significant part of their UK wealth management business in the South of England. Since leaving Barclays, Rob has established a consultancy business helping small and medium sized enterprises target the French market, offering market analysis, business strategy reviews and mentoring and coaching to business leaders.
