Tom Hewitt

Senior Investment Manager - Head of Office - Chartered FCSI

Tom joined GBIM in 2017 and was appointed to the Board in September 2018. Tom works closely with John MacMahon as an Investment Manager, looking after clients’ portfolios and developing new business. In addition, he also works in the AIM IHT Portfolio Team. He spent 14 years at Bank of Scotland and its successor Lloyds Bank, working in the Leveraged Finance Group, the Business Support Unit and most recently as a Relationship Director in the Mid-markets client group.

Tom graduated in Business Studies from Edinburgh University, his professional qualifications include the CISI Investment Advice Diploma and CISI Level 6 Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. In addition, Tom is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI).

Tom is married with three boys, enjoys the outdoors and keeping fit as well as cooking and travelling (time permitting!). Tom is a Trustee and Director of a local family run business.
