James Crarer

Senior Investment Manager - Chartered FCSI

James joined GBIM in 2013 as a Graduate Trainee, after graduating from Loughborough University with BA in History and International Relations. He then went on to become an Investment Analyst, looking at a wide range of asset classes and sectors. James is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds the CFA Society Certificate in Investment Management (IMC), the CISI Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and the CISI Level 6 Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM).

As an Investment Manager, James works closely with Charles Buckley and has experience working with private clients, families, trusts and pensions as well as trustee companies. He works on constructing, monitoring and reviewing client portfolios and is involved with general business development, particularly with developing partnerships with other professional services firms. On the research side his focus is on global technology funds and companies.

In his spare time, James enjoys keeping fit and can either be found watching rugby, at the gym, on the squash court or in the rough on the golf course.
